BIO


Ping Mao is a Professor and Director of the Nursing Teaching-Research Section at The Third Xiangya Hospital, Central South University (CSU). She has been a registered nurse since 1994 and has held leadership roles in nursing since 2010. She is an expert in nursing management, practice development, and education.Dr. Mao is an active member of several professional organizations, including the International Family Nursing Association (IFNA), the Surgical Committee of the Chinese Nursing Association, and serves as Vice Chair of the Kidney Transplantation Care Committee under the China Healthcare International Exchange Promotion Association. She is also Chair of the Hunan Nursing Association’s Kidney Disease and Organ Transplantation Committee, Vice Chair of its International Exchange Committee, and a standing member of the Hunan Nursing Association Council.Dr. Mao has published extensively, including multiple SCI and CSCD articles, and has spoken at several international academic conferences. Her research focuses on child and adolescent mental health, women’s health, TCM studies, nursing education, and management. She has led numerous research projects funded by provincial and national grants. She maintains active research collaborations with institutions such as UCSF and Washington University.
